Freezing Nights

/files/Pictures/Logos/homestead_trees_3_Resized_300x241.jpgFreezing Nights is a program to help the homeless.  PNC is proud to be a hosting church in partnership with seven other area-wide churches.  When the wind chill reaches 35 degrees, area-wide churches open their facilities to shelter those who have no homes.  The guests are served hot meals at a local facility and then bused to the hosting church for the evening.  At the church, a group of volunteers get to know each person while allowing them to wash their clothes, take showers, and listening to them. This program runs between October through March.

Watch last year's video here to see love in action.

If you would like to volunteer, or find out more about the program, which resumes in the fall of 2008,  Contact Dan and Judi Alldridge.  Or call PNC at (253) 845-7508 for more information.
