Church Finance and Stewardship

/files/Pictures/Logos/financial 2.jpgBeginning with the 4th quarter of each fiscal year, the Pastoral Staff, Ministry leadership, Church Board, and Church Financial Advisor begin praying for God's wisdom and dirrection as they begin to plan the upcoming year's church budget.  This budget is a direct reflection of the missional priorities of our church's vision to "find and restore God's lost, treasured creation" within our community and around the world.  

The Pastoral staff, Finance committee and Board go through a rigorous and intentional process from September through December to build the annual budget that accurately reflects all aspects of our church's ministry.  A budget timeline is available on our website for those who would like to have more complete information.

The new budget year begins January 1 and ends on December 31.  The annual budget is administered by the Executive Pastor and Church Financial Advisor, who monitor the budget weekly.  At its regular meetings, the board receives financial reports monthly, and has a semi-annual in-depth report in July on the budget's progress.  At every level of monitoring, spending is adjusted to reflect actual income received.
