Welcome to PNC

Welcome to PNCWinter gives way to spring.  Easter morning has now overcome Good Friday.  The God of hope and mercy with gladness looks for ways in which to pour out his mercy on us.  God has immersed himself in our need, our sins and mess-ups.  Jesus took it on, took the blows, suffered with us and in our place.  He is not afraid of our needs or repulsed by our neediness.   And most comforting of all, loss and death don’t get the last word.  The last word is resurrection and hope for all who embrace what God has done for us in Jesus Christ.

We are learning to be a community of Easter hope.  That means that we welcome people with the full conviction that God’s great love for us will not leave us unchanged.  When grace enters our disgrace, when our struggles are immersed in God’s unfailing strength, when we come to trust the love that reaches into our messes to heal and restore us, we are changed.  All of us.

We welcome you to PNC.  We invite you into the journey.  We share with you the generosity of God’s love.  We want you to experience God in a life-transforming way.  We invite you to our Sunday worship gatherings, our Action Groups (which are smaller fellowships for mutual encouragement and spiritual growth), as well as our specialized gathering including those for men and women.

My prayer is that the joy of God’s great love will infuse you with faith and hope. Welcome to PNC!
