What We Believe
We believe that:
There is one God; revealed as Father, Son and Holy Spirit.
The Old and New Testament Scriptures, fully inspired, contain all truth necessary to faith and Christian living.
Every person is born with a fallen nature and is, therefore, inclined to evil continually. Without the intervening work of God's grace through Jesus Christ, His Son, all are hopelessly lost.
The sacrifice of Jesus on the cross provides atonement for the whole human race; whoever changes his/her mind and direction by trusting in the Lord Jesus Christ is justified (declared 'not guilty'), regenerated (made a new creation), adopted (into the family of God) and saved (rescued and delivered) from the dominion of sin.
Those who experience new life through the grace of God and faith in Jesus Christ will encounter the invitation of God enter into a life of full surrender to God resulting in being thoroughly and joyously set apart to live exclusively in love
for
God and in the love
of
God for others, empowered by the Holy Spirit.
The Church of Jesus Christ is one Church, yet is expressed in localities, as communities of people brought together by Jesus, confessing Jesus as Lord, functioning as the Body of Christ with gifts and graces, made alive by the creative Word of God and energized by the Holy Spirit.
Our Lord will return and the dead will be raised. The final judgment will take place.
Water Baptism and the Lord's Supper are sacraments to be celebrated by the Church.
The Bible's witness to the reality of divine healing is to be taken seriously today without diminishing how God has enabled man to make medical advancements for the benefit of healthy living.
