Thunder in the Valley
Ride a motorcycle? Looking for a positive, Christian experience? Have friends, family or work-mates that ride?
Thunder in the Valley
is for you.
We’re extending to you an invitation to join us for some fun and some fantastic rides through our scenic Northwest countryside. We welcome, with open arms, all who love to ride – young or old, church attendee or not, Harleys, Hondas, Suzukis, BMWs, Kawasakis, Yamahas, and Indians, too. It doesn’t matter to us what you ride. We welcome all bikes and riders. So don your leathers, come gassed up and ready to go and meet some new bikers.
Thunder in the Valley
was officially organized in the early spring of 2004. In the past, there was a group of riders from PNC that met on a regular basis during the summer months to ride. We realized this was an opportunity to get in touch with other motorcycle enthusiasts. Our goal is to create an atmosphere of fun, fellowship and outreach.
We schedule half day, full day, and overnight weekend rides. Whatever your experience level, we have a ride planned with you in mind. Food, fun and breaks are all planned into the day’s ride ahead of time. We normally ride in staggered, double-file formation in small groups of five or seven, depending on total rider participation. We practice safe riding and wish to encourage riders to enroll in a motorcycle safety course and possess the motorcycle license endorsement. Occasionally, we will try to include a safety seminar, rider skills or tech class to help sharpen each other’s ability to enjoy the sport to the fullest, with safety being paramount.
