Treasured Times [Women] Tuesdays @ 8:30AM – A hot cup of coffee, breakfast, a great time of fellowship, prayer and studying the Word.
Faith Builders [Men] Wednesdays @ 8AM – Great conversation, sausage, bacon and pancakes, prayer and the word, just for the guys.
Potluck First Thursdays of the Month @ 11:30AM – The pleasant smell of homemade meals and desserts permeate the Upper Room as we gather together to eat and be spiritually uplifted. We’re often blessed with great music and a special guest speaker.
'What’s Cookin' Third Thursdays of the Month @ 11:30AM – Guest chefs treat us to wonderful meals like lasagna, potato bar or ‘stuff your taco day’. Dessert always follows with plenty of friendly fellowship, and on occasion we hear helpful health or community presentations.
Gospel Hymn Sings Do you love hymns and choruses? Come and sing with us. On scheduled Saturday nights at 6PM, we gather in the sanctuary to sing. Martha’s Hands, Mary’s Heart Like to sew, quilt or crochet? Would you like to use your God-given talent to serve others? We’ll make dresses and shorts for children in Africa, blankets for babies at Care Net and Precious Creations, lap robes for Veterans and Seniors. We also have a time for devotions and prayer. Compassionate Ministries Taking care of your home can be a daunting task at times – Compassionate Ministries is available to help care for you and your home when you need it most. Repairing a leaking faucet, removing moss from your roof, or just about anything you may need, we can help you. Acts of Grace Spread out in our valley, are many people tucked away in their homes or care facilities. Our Care Team exists to encourage those in need, and help meet some of their basic needs. From driving to and from doctors’ appointments and grocery store trips, to cooking a meal, or reading the Word of God to someone experiencing poor sight or blindness. Outreach Ministry Every month, we have projects at home and abroad to minister to the needs of people. Some of the projects we support are Operation Christmas Child, feeding our homeless brothers and sisters at the National Guard in Puyallup, Rainier Vista services, Tacoma Rescue Mission, Prayer Shawls, Blankets and Booties for Good Samaritan Hospital, and Glove and Sock drops. Summer Mission Trip – 2011 In August, we will be traveling to Abbotsford, British Columbia on a two-day trip to assist the Gleaners. Excursion Trips As the luxurious bus pulls up, everyone is excited to be going on an excursion for the day, somewhere around the NW.
