Journey of Grief

It may be hard for you to feel optimistic about the future right now. If you have lost a spouse, child, family member or friend, you’ve probably found that there are not many people who understand the deep hurt you feel.

That’s the reason for Journey of Grief – a support group for people grieving the loss of someone close. This non-denominational group features biblical teaching on grief topics and is sponsored by people who understand what you are experiencing and want to offer you comfort and encouragement during this difficult time.

Each session includes a video featuring:
  • Top experts on grief
  • On-location and real-life stories of people who have experienced losses like yours
  • Interviews with leading authors, counselors and pastors with years of expertise, such as Kay Arthur, Dr. Bill Bright, Joni Eareckson Tada, Anne Graham Lotz, Dr. Jack Hayford, Dr. E. V. Hill, Barbara Johnson and Janet Paschal

After viewing the video, you’ll participate in a small group discussion about what you’ve seen. You’ll also have the opportunity to interact with others who have experienced a recent loss, learn about their experiences and have the opportunity to share your own.

You are welcome to begin attending Journey of Grief during any of the 13 sessions. Each session is “self-contained”, so you don’t have to attend in sequence. You’ll find encouragement and help whenever you begin, and can continue with the program and view any of the videos you haven’t seen.
