Prayer Room
Prayer Room
Located at
804 11th St SW - across the street from the PNC campus - the Prayer Room is dedicated to individual and corporate prayer. A place set apart to provide a setting for seeking God in prayer, for humbling ourselves for personal, church and community revival. The room is often used by individuals during the day and evening - shared by believers from many different churches in the region. Occasionally, it is the place where PNC members respond to continuous, 24/7 PRAYER, a global movement.

These words by Carla Harding say it well - "Why do we pray? For real, personal, heart-to-heart encounters with an interested God. It's the moment we realize that He really is here, now. It's a moment of forgiveness, an answer to a question, the assurance that we're worth something, worth Jesus. These are precious interactions that have the potential to change the very direction of our lives. It's the intimate stuff relationships are built upon. Why do I pray? I pray because I need to get to know Him, I need to get to know me..."

The Prayer Room is generally open during the business day, Sunday through Thursday.

"If we pray, we get to see what God can do. If we don't pray, we get to see what we can do - and we've seen what we can do."

24-7 Prayer

24/7 PRAYER

Starting Easter Sunday, and running continuously until Pentecost Sunday, May 27th, we invite you to participate in 24/7 PRAYER. An intentional journey of prayer to cover ourselves, our marriages, our children, our jobs and finances, our family and friends, in the grace of God, through continuous, 24/7 prayer.

“When we pray, we get to see what God can do!” When the whole church prays, when we give urgent and extraordinary attention to prayer, God accomplishes much. Many scriptures invite, even urge us to pray. “If my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray, if they will seek my face and turn from their grievous ways, then I will hear from heaven and forgive their sin and heal their land.” Jesus taught us that we should always pray and not give up (see II Chronicles 7:14 and Luke 18:1-8) So, we have set aside this season for extraordinary prayer. You are invited, even urged, to be a part of this.
