Since 1995, PNC has joined with the Francis House to provide a meal once a month for those in need. PNC provides a dinner every 3rd Wednesday at the National Guard Armory (6th Ave NE in Puyallup) for our homeless brothers and sisters. The original volunteer crew included a core group of 5-6 high school students who started this project by needing to fulfill their community service requirements for graduation. Now that these students are graduates, a new group of volunteers are needed to carry out this important work.
We could use your help in the following areas:
Shopping for food
Preparing the food at PNC
Transporting the food to the Armory
Setting up, serving the meal to our guests, and cleaning up
